The Collection

Art to Discover. Tequila to Savor.

At RLG3 Sips, we bring together the craft of tequila and the creativity of visual art. Our vision is a growing collection of artwork tequila releases, each with its own design, personality, and story.

The RLG3 Sips Collection

Ándale Reserve is the First Chapter.

Created from founder Robert L. Garrett III's vision, Ándale Reserve introduces the collection with a limited, small-batch reposado made from 100% blue Weber agave. Produced and aged at the El Mexicano distillery and warehouse in Arandas, Jalisco, Mexico, it connects the highlands of Los Altos with an artistic experience you can hold, display, and enjoy.

Just two oak barrels — #25BG78 and #25BG113 — yielded 518 bottles of 750 mL. This first release marks the beginning of many artwork tequilas we plan to introduce through RLG3 Sips.

As the collection grows, new artwork and stories will give each release its own identity. Our commitment to tequila without additives or artificial flavors will remain at the heart of that vision.

Our Philosophy

We Want the Tequila's Character to Come from the Craft.

For Robert, what is inside the bottle deserves as much attention as the artwork outside. We want you to experience the agave, the choices made during production, and the influence of barrel aging. These are the qualities we want to explore and celebrate with every release.

Some tequilas use ingredients such as sugar-based syrups, glycerin, caramel coloring, or oak extracts to modify the finished spirit. The words "100% agave" describe the source of the sugars used to make the tequila; they do not, by themselves, guarantee that no additives were used.

Our preference is to let the tequila's own character lead. We value the aromas developed through fermentation, the character shaped by distillation, and the qualities that emerge during maturation. Those processes give us something worth discovering in the glass.

Choosing this approach reflects what we appreciate most: a connection to the agave, respect for the production process, and room for each batch to express its individuality.

The agave, the craft, the barrel — nothing else.

How It's Made

From Field to Bottle.

01

Harvest

Our jimadores hand-select only the ripest blue agave piñas — plants aged 7 to 10 years — from the red clay highlands of Los Altos, Jalisco.

02

Cook

The piñas are slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens, unlocking the natural sugars and developing the deep, earthy sweetness that defines Ándale Reserve.

03

Ferment

Crushed and fermented using open-air wooden vats, allowing the terroir of Jalisco to express itself fully. No additives. No shortcuts.

04

Distill

Double-distilled in copper pot stills for purity and character. Only what the agave gives.

05

Rest

Aged in American white oak barrels at El Mexicano, where the spirit develops its signature warmth, vanilla, and toasted oak complexity.
